HOUSE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of 
3Representatives wish to recognize Dale Lilburn on 18 years of 
4service as the CEO of Plymouth Place Senior Living in LaGrange 
5Park, a life care community in the western suburbs of Chicago 
6that provides senior living and care options; and
  
 
7    WHEREAS, Dale Lilburn began his career operating and 
8developing life care communities in 1983; he has built 
9leadership teams that have successfully opened and operated 
10communities in Missouri, Illinois, and California; in 1999, he 
11joined Plymouth Place; and
  
 
12    WHEREAS, Dale Lilburn was instrumental in the process of 
13building a new Plymouth Place, carrying on the tradition of the 
14organization which was founded in 1944; he has helped develop 
15one of the premier retirement communities in the Chicago area; 
16and
  
 
17    WHEREAS, Dale Lilburn received his Bachelor of Science from 
18the University of Missouri-Columbia, School of Business and 
19Public Administration and has been a licensed Nursing Home 
20Administrator in three states; he is an active member of 
21national, state, and local organizations that represent and 
22serve seniors; he is a member of the  Life Services Network of

1Illinois' Continuing Care Residential Communities Cabinet and 
2a member of the Leading Age, a national industry association, 
3where he serves on its Public Policy Committee; and
  
 
4    WHEREAS, Dale Lilburn has served on the board of directors 
5of the West Suburban Chamber of Commerce and is a founding 
6member of the LaGrange Park Chamber of Commerce; and
  
 
7    WHEREAS, Dale Lilburn lives in Westmont with his wife, 
8Cindy; therefore, be it
  
 
9    RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE ONE 
10HUNDREDTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we 
11recognize Dale Lilburn on 18 years of service as the CEO of 
12Plymouth Place Senior Living, and we wish him the best in all 
13his future endeavors; and be it further
  
 
14    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
15presented to Dale Lilburn as an expression of our esteem and 
16respect.
