HOUSE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of 
3Representatives are pleased to congratulate the
Downers Grove 
4North High School Varsity Boys Cross Country Team, the Trojans, 
5on winning the  2017 Illinois High
School Association (IHSA) 
6Class 3A State Championship on November 4, 2017; and
  
 
7    WHEREAS, This was the first cross country
championship in 
8Downers Grove North High School history; and
  
 
9    WHEREAS, The Trojans are coached by Head Coach John
Sipple 
10and Assistant Coaches Jill Blondell and Eric Buhot, and 
11volunteer coaches Will Kupisch, Josh
Williams, Mike Powell, and 
12Ethan Wood; and
  
 
13    WHEREAS, The Trojans are seniors, Jacob Ridderhoff, Sam 
14McCool, Nick Chudzik, Ryan
Birkmeier, Miles Christensen, and 
15Brendan Lockerby and junior, Jack Roberts; and
  
 
16    WHEREAS, State medalists from the team include Jacob 
17Ridderhoff (8th Place), Nick Chudzik (19th Place),
Miles 
18Christensen (21st Place), and Jack Roberts (22nd Place); 
19therefore, be it
  
 
  
20    RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE ONE

1HUNDREDTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we 
2are pleased to congratulate the Downers Grove North High School 
3Varsity Boys Cross Country Team, the Trojans, on winning the 
42017 Illinois High School Association Class 3A State 
5Championship, and we wish them many more successful seasons; 
6and be it further
  
 
7    RESOLVED, That suitable copies of this resolution be
