HOUSE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of 
3Representatives wish to congratulate Isaiah Curry on the 
4occasion of his 80th birthday, along with the renewal of his 
5wedding vows to his wife of 20 years, Velma, on October 7, 
62017; and
  
 



  
7    WHEREAS, Isaiah Curry has demonstrated a strong commitment 
8to the education of children throughout his life; he is well 
9recognized for contributing much to many in his years as an 
10educator; he worked consistently to help in the formation of 
11the educated citizens whose future lives have and will continue 
12to radiate influence in fellow churches, communities, the City 
13of Chicago, the State of Illinois, and the United States of 
14America; and
  
 
15    WHEREAS, Isaiah Curry and his wife are especially 
16appreciated by the Simeon community for their continual and 
17unwavering support for the once, current, and future Simeonites 
18that have and will pass through the halls; and
  
 
19    WHEREAS, Isaiah Curry's spirit acts as a beacon to all; 
20therefore, be it
  
 
21    RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE ONE

1HUNDREDTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we 
2congratulate Isaiah Curry on his 80th birthday, and recognize 
3his strong commitment to the education of citizens past, 
4present, and future; we wish him many more wonderful years; and 
5be it further
  
 
6    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
