| 3 | | Representatives are saddened to learn of the death of Mark A. |
| 4 | | Adams of Peoria, who passed away on September 3, 2017; and

| 5 | | WHEREAS, Mark Adams was born in Peoria to J.C. and Betty |
| 6 | | Porter Adams on November 24, 1961; he graduated from Manual |
| 7 | | High School in 1979, where he played on the 1975-1977 football |
| 8 | | teams inducted into the Greater Peoria Sports Hall of Fame; he |
| 9 | | attended Triton College; and
|
| 10 | | WHEREAS, Mark Adams worked at the Youth Farm in Peoria |
| 11 | | County for many years, retiring as a coordinator; and
|
| 12 | | WHEREAS, Mark Adams enjoyed weightlifting; his personal |
| 13 | | best was 500 pounds; he was a loving, compassionate and |
| 14 | | independent man known for his mischievous wit and his |
| 15 | | bar-be-que; and
|
| 16 | | WHEREAS, Mark Adams was preceded in death by his parents; |
| 17 | | his brother, Charlie; and his sister, Gloria; and
|
| 18 | | WHEREAS, Mark Adams is survived by his daughter, Dominique |
| 19 | | Adams; his son, Jordan C. Brown-Adams; his granddaughter, |
| 20 | | Jordyn Adams-Hardin; his significant other, Alesia Wilkinson; |
