| 2 | | WHEREAS, David and Dorothy "Doffie" Crabb have lived in the |
| 3 | | Hyde Park neighborhood in Chicago for the last 35 years; and

| 4 | | WHEREAS, Deeply rooted in the community, David is a senior |
| 5 | | philanthropic adviser at the University of Chicago and Doffie |
| 6 | | is a well-known and much-admired realtor; and
|
| 7 | | WHEREAS, David and Doffie are moving out of the State to be |
| 8 | | close to their daughter and her family; therefore, be it
|
| 9 | | RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE ONE |
| 10 | | HUNDREDTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that, to |
| 11 | | help celebrate Doffie at Linda Neal's July garden party in her |

| 15 | | But we salute you for all you've done, not the least |

| 17 | | Us-and even better, to energize Us. |
| 18 | | You've breathed new life into everything you touch, |
| 19 | | Service League, Fortnightly, Playreaders, Comer and such. |
| 20 | | You've built on the bonds that hold us together. |
| 21 | | But we understand it's time to cut the tether. |
| 22 | | Laura and the children, how could you stay away? |
