| 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of |
| 3 | | Representatives wish to recognize Ron Orent as he prepares to |
| 4 | | embark on his Honor Flight to Washington, D.C. on May 10, 2017; |
| 5 | | and
|
| 6 | | WHEREAS, Ron Orent served in the United States Armed Forces |
| 7 | | from November of 1949 to October of 1954; and
|
| 8 | | WHEREAS, Ron Orent was stationed aboard the USS Tarawa CVA |
| 9 | | 40; and
|
| 10 | | WHEREAS, Ron Orent is 86 years of age and a native of |
| 11 | | Orland Park; therefore, be it
|
| 12 | | RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE ONE |
| 13 | | HUNDREDTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we |
| 14 | | recognize Ron Orent as he prepares to embark on his Honor |
| 15 | | Flight to Washington, D.C. on May 10, 2017 and we thank him for |
| 16 | | his service to our country; and be it further

| 17 | | RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be |
| 18 | | presented to Ron Orent as a symbol of our respect and esteem.
