HOUSE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of

3Representatives wish to congratulate the 2017 Illinois 
4Elementary School Association Class 2A seventh grade

5volleyball State Champions, the Mount Pulaski Honeybears; and
  
 
6    WHEREAS, The Honeybears defeated Illini Central in three 
7sets
to win the championship after losing the first set 25 to 
819;
they bounced back to take set two 25 to 20 and set three
25 
9to 18; and
  
 
10    WHEREAS, Leading the Honeybears were Mackenzi Chandler,

11Alexis Wade, Kate Beckers, Hailee Daigh, Keyleigh Stewart,

12Makenna Wilham, Scout Tschantz, Je'na Rentmeister, Xzandria

13Turner, Ella Bobell, Cassidy Clark, Clarissa Turner, Jayda

14Allspach, Grace Davis, and Kamrie Charron; and
  
 
15    WHEREAS, The Honeybears are coached by Head Coach Donna

16Dulle and Assistant Coaches Bethany Dulle and Cori Clark; the 
17team is managed by Raelynn Turner, Claire Bobell, Karsyn 
18Wilham,
Franklin Wade, and Carter Clark; and
  
 
  
19    WHEREAS, This is the second
Class 2A seventh grade 
20volleyball championship for the Honeybears and Coach Dulle; 
21therefore, be it

1    RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE ONE 
2HUNDREDTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we

the many friends and fans of the Mount Pulaski Honeybears 
4in
congratulating them for winning the 2017 Illinois Elementary 
5School Association Class 7-2A State Volleyball
Championship, 
6and we wish them continued success; and be it further
  
 
7    RESOLVED, That suitable copies of this resolution be

8presented to the Honeybears as an expression of
our esteem and 
9respect.
