HOUSE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of 
3Representatives wish to congratulate the Lena-Winslow/Stockton 
4co-op wrestling team, the PantherHawks, on winning the 2017 
5Illinois High School Association Class 1A Wrestling State 
6Championship; and
  
 
7    WHEREAS, The PantherHawks  captured the championship by 
8defeating Wilmington High School on February 25, 2017 in 
9Bloomington-Normal; and
  
 
10    WHEREAS, The PantherHawks are comprised of athletes from 
11Lena-Winslow and Stockton High Schools; and
  
 
  
12    WHEREAS, The PantherHawks are coached by Head Coach Kevin 
13Milder; the Assistant Coaches are Steve Brown and Jered Staver; 
14the stats are kept by Adriana Curran, Makenzie Lawson, and 
15Alyssa Vincent; and
  
 
16    WHEREAS, The PantherHawks are Kylor Bruketta,
Connor

2    RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE ONE 
3HUNDREDTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we 
4congratulate the Lena-Winslow/Stockton co-op wrestling team, 
5the PantherHawks, on winning the 2017 Illinois High School 
6Association Class 1A Wrestling State Championship, and we wish 
7them many more successful years; and be it further
  
 
8    RESOLVED, That suitable copies of this resolution be 
9presented to the PantherHawks as an expression of our esteem 
10and respect.
