| 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of |
| 3 | | Representatives wish to congratulate the Bigham Family on 100 |
| 4 | | years of showing jersey cattle at the Perry County Fair; and
|
| 5 | | WHEREAS, Gilbert Bigham first showed jersey cattle at the |
| 6 | | Perry County Fair in 1916; and
|
| 7 | | WHEREAS, The Bigham Family has helped contribute towards |
| 8 | | the positive history of animal showing at county fairs in |
| 9 | | Illinois; and
|
| 10 | | WHEREAS, The Bigham Family represents the holistic family |
| 11 | | values of Southern Illinoisans; therefore, be it
|
| 12 | | RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE ONE |
| 13 | | HUNDREDTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we |
| 14 | | congratulate the Bigham Family on 100 years of showing jersey |
| 15 | | cattle at the Perry County Fair and we wish them another 100 |
| 16 | | years; and be it further

| 17 | | RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be |
| 18 | | presented to the Bigham Family as an expression of our esteem |
| 19 | | and respect.
