HOUSE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, John Therriault joined the staff of the Illinois 
3Pollution Control Board as Assistant Clerk in January of 2003; 
4he became Clerk of the Board in 2013; and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, John Therriault has received well-deserved praise 
6throughout State government, the legal community, and 
7environmental organizations for his spirit of helpfulness and 
8his cooperative assistance; and
  
 
9    WHEREAS, John Therriault demonstrates his commitment to 
10his work on the Board by his strong work ethic and commitment 
11to accuracy; and
  
 
12    WHEREAS, John Therriault has shown genuine and 
13much-appreciated flexibility in adopting and adapting to new 
14systems and practices; and
  
 
15    WHEREAS, John Therriault is known by the Board Chairmen, 
16members, and staff for his friendship, sense of humor, and 
17generosity; therefore, be it

  
 
18    RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE ONE 
19HUNDREDTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we 
20recognize and congratulate John Therriault on his retirement

1from the Illinois Pollution Control Board, and wish him the 
2best of health and happiness during his retirement years; and
