HOUSE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of 
3Representatives wish to recognize Becky Glazier on the occasion 
4of her retirement from the Illinois State Board of Elections on 
5December 30, 2016; and
  
 
6    WHEREAS, Becky Glazier joined the State Board of Elections 
7on February 8, 1984 when she started working as a Secretary II 
8in the Division of Election Operations, eventually working her 
9way up to the position of Assistant to the Executive Director; 
10and
  
 
11    WHEREAS, Becky Glazier has represented the State Board of 
12Elections as a member and office holder with the National 
13Association of State Election Directors and the Election Center 
14Professional Education Committee; and
  
 
  
15    WHEREAS, Becky Glazier has been a dedicated employee with 
16the State Board of Elections for nearly 33 years; therefore, be 
17it

  
 
18    RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE ONE 
19HUNDREDTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we 
20recognize Becky Glazier on her retirement from the Illinois 
21State Board of Elections and we wish her the best in all her

2    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
3presented to Becky Glazier as an expression of our esteem and
