| 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of |
| 3 | | Representatives are saddened to learn of the death of Gerald |
| 4 | | Lee "Jerry" Crabb of Harrisburg, who passed away on January 18, |
| 5 | | 2017; and
|
| 6 | | WHEREAS, Gerald Crabb was born in Maud, Oklahoma to Odus |
| 7 | | and Juanita Collins Crabb on June 24, 1938; he married Carol |
| 8 | | Ann Crawford in Vandalia on December 8, 1955; and
|
| 9 | | WHEREAS, Gerald Crabb was a longtime owner and partner of |
| 10 | | Crabb & Crawford Accountants of Eldorado; and
|
| 11 | | WHEREAS, Gerald Crabb enjoyed playing golf, traveling, |
| 12 | | watching his grandkids and great-grandkids play sports, and |
| 13 | | spending time with his family and friends; he was a member of |
| 14 | | Harrisburg First United Methodist Church, where he served as a |
| 15 | | Sunday school teacher and a former youth leader and |
| 16 | | participated on many committees; and
|
| 17 | | WHEREAS, Gerald Crabb was preceded in death by his parents; |
| 18 | | an infant brother; his sister, Bobbie Daugherty; his |
| 19 | | brother-in-law and business partner, Carl Crawford; and his |
| 20 | | brothers-in-law, Bob Koons, and Dean Crawford; and
|

| 1 | | WHEREAS, Gerald Crabb is survived by his wife of 61 years, |
| 2 | | Carol; his daughters, Mary (Mike) Reed, Martha (Rocky) James, |
| 3 | | and LeAnn (Doug) Miller; his son, John (Amanda) Crabb; his |
| 4 | | grandchildren, Julie (Davy) Martin, Lucas (Laurin) Reed, |
| 5 | | Daniel Reed, Laura (Eric) Westbrook, Isabel Crabb, Isaac Crabb, |
| 6 | | Ian Crabb, Scott (Lisa) Reed, and Nikki (Graham) Andrews; his |
| 7 | | great-grandchildren, Jack and Sam Martin, Kendall Reed, and |
| 8 | | Ethan and Carter Reed; his sister, Kathy (Gary) Smith; his |
| 9 | | brother-in-law, Jack Daugherty; his sisters-in-law, Cindy |
| 10 | | Crawford, Nellie Koons, and Jean Crawford; and several nieces |
| 11 | | and nephews, best friends, and special neighbors; therefore, be |
