| 5 | | WHEREAS, Edna Smith was born on January 14, 1917 in

| 6 | | Maywood; and

| 7 | | WHEREAS, Edna Smith made a career out of working for Sears,

| 8 | | Roebuck and Company, rising to the rank of Executive
Secretary |
| 9 | | to Mr. Roebuck himself and working in the famous Sears Tower in

| 10 | | Chicago; and
|
| 11 | | WHEREAS, Edna Smith is a family woman; she raised one |
| 12 | | daughter,
and is a proud grandmother of three and |
| 13 | | great-grandmother of
eight; therefore, be it
