HOUSE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of 
3Representatives are saddened to learn of the death of
Jovan 
4Alexander Jordan Wilson, who passed away at the age of 15; and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, Javon Wilson was born to Lishia Murphy and  Stacey 
6Wilson on January 29, 2001; and
  
 
7    WHEREAS, Javon Wilson was a sophomore at Perspectives 
8Charter School, where his favorite subject was
math; he enjoyed 
9playing  Play Station; he also enjoyed playing his
favorite 
10sport, basketball, and was able to attend basketball camps 
11during the summer months, where he interacted with professional 
12basketball players; and
  
 
13    WHEREAS, Javon Wilson enjoyed spending time with his 
14family; he especially enjoyed spending the holidays with his 
15grandparents, Congressman and Mrs. Danny K. Davis; on Sundays, 
16after
church service at Carey Tercentenary, he and his family 
17could often be found at Grand's buffet, where they would 
18frequently "pig out"; and
  
 
  
19    WHEREAS, Javon Wilson is survived by his parents, Lishia 
20Murphy and Stacey Wilson; his siblings,
Khaliyah Wilson, Jeremy 
21Murphy, Justin Murphy, and Stacey Jr.; his maternal

1grandparents, Linda
Thomas, and Stanley Weston; his paternal 
2grandparents, Danny K. and Vera G. Davis, and Martha Wilson; 
3therefore, be it
  
 
4    RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE ONE 
5HUNDREDTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we, 
6along with his family and friends, mourn the passing of Jovan 
7Alexander
Jordan Wilson; and be it further
  
 
8    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
9presented to the family of Jovan Wilson as an expression of our 
10deepest sympathy.
