AMENDMENT TO HOUSE RESOLUTION 50 


2    AMENDMENT NO. ___.  Amend House Resolution 50 as follows:
 
3by deleting everything and replacing it with the following:
 
4    "WHEREAS, During the 99th General Assembly, House 
5Resolution 892 (HCA2) created the Success by 25 Task Force to 
6identify programs that may be beneficial to young adults

7between the ages of 18 and 21 who are in the care of the

8Illinois Department of Children and Family Services and to 
9examine new programs and laws for young
adults between the ages 
10of 21 and 25 who were formerly in the
care of the Illinois 
11Department of Children and Family Services
to ensure their 
12continued success for independent living; and
 
13    WHEREAS, The Success by 25 Task Force was to report its 
14findings and recommendations to the General Assembly by 
15December 31, 2016; and

1    WHEREAS, The Success by 25 Task Force needs additional time 
2to complete its work; therefore, be it
 
3    RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE ONE 
4HUNDREDTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that the 
5Success by 25 Task Force shall report its findings and 
6recommendations as required by House Resolution 892 (HCA2) of 
7the 99th General Assembly no later than December 31, 2017; and 
8be it further
 
9    RESOLVED, That with this extension, the Success by 25 Task 
10Force shall continue to operate as provided under House 
11Resolution 892 (HCA2) of the 99th General Assembly."
