| 2 | | AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend House Bill 1930 by replacing |
| 3 | | everything after the enacting clause with the following:

| 4 | | "Section 5. The Interscholastic Athletic Organization Act |
| 5 | | is amended by adding Section 1.25 as follows:

| 6 | | (105 ILCS 25/1.25 new) |
| 7 | | Sec. 1.25. Athletic classification. Beginning with the |
| 8 | | 2018-2019 school year, an association or other entity that has |
| 9 | | as one of its purposes promoting, sponsoring, regulating, or in |
| 10 | | any manner providing for interscholastic athletics or any form |
| 11 | | of athletic competition among high schools and high school |
| 12 | | students within this State may not utilize a classification |
| 13 | | system in which an enrollment multiplier is added to a school.

| 14 | | Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect upon |
| 15 | | becoming law.".
