Section 455.10  Purpose and Authority

The purpose of this Part is to prescribe the requirements for administering the Illinois Cycle Rider Safety Training Program (CRSTP) that promotes safety for persons and property related to the use and operation of motorcycles, motor driven cycles and motorized pedalcycles as authorized by the Cycle Rider Safety Training Act [625 ILCS 35].  The Illinois Department of Transportation has the power, duty and authority to administer the Act.
