Section 250.2210 Applicability of other Subparts of these Regulations
a) The requirements in Subpart A: General Provisions; Subpart B: Administration and Planning; Subpart E: Laboratory Services; Subpart F: Radiological Services; Subpart L: Records and Reports; Subpart M: Food Service; Subpart N: Housekeeping and Laundry Service; Subpart P: Engineering and Maintenance of Physical Plant, Site, Equipment and Systems – Heating, Cooling, Electrical, Ventilation, Plumbing, Water, Sewer, and Solid Waste Disposal; and Subpart R: Pharmacy or Drug and Medicine Service shall apply in the organization and operation of psychiatric hospitals and psychiatric services of general hospitals.
b) The requirements in Subpart C: The Medical Staff; Subpart D: Personnel Service; Subpart H: Restorative and Rehabilitation Services; Subpart I: Nursing Service and Administration; Subpart T: Design and Construction Standards; Subpart U: Construction Requirements for Existing Hospitals; Subpart V: Special Care and Special Service Units are also applicable except as otherwise modified in this Subpart.
